## Funding Projects

For projects requiring budget, you can:

* **Pledge funds** via Paystack (secure payment)
* **Pool resources** with neighbors
* **Apply for ward budget** through governance channels

### Refund Policy

If a project you pledged to is **Cancelled** (e.g., failed to reach goal or plan changed):

* Your funds are **automatically refunded** to your Civic Wallet.
* You receive a notification immediately.
* Funds are never lost or "stuck" in a failed project.

## Professional Execution (New)

For complex projects (like road surfacing or structural repairs), the community can delegate execution to professional vendors.

### Split Bidding

To keep the economy local, we split large projects into two bid categories:

1. **Materials** (Supply Only) - e.g., delivering 50 bags of asphalt.
2. **Labor** (Service Only) - e.g., the team applying the asphalt.

This allows smaller local hardware stores to bid on materials even if they can't do the labor.

### Work Orders

When a professional bid is accepted, a **Work Order** is generated. Funds are held in escrow and only released when the Work Order is verified as complete by the community.
