# Tender Intelligence

Monitor government tenders with AI-powered risk scoring, compliance verification, and geographic matching to your ward.

## What We Track

* **National tenders** from the eTender portal
* **Provincial procurement** from all 9 provinces
* **Municipal contracts** from metropolitan and local municipalities

## Key Features

### Risk Scoring

Every tender is automatically assessed for risk indicators:

| Factor              | What We Check                                              |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Value anomaly**   | Is the contract value unusual for its category?            |
| **Timeline**        | Are deadlines suspiciously tight or extended?              |
| **Concentration**   | Has this department awarded to the same vendor repeatedly? |
| **Compliance gaps** | Are required documents or declarations missing?            |

  Risk scores range from **Low** (green) to **Critical** (red). High-risk tenders are flagged for public scrutiny.

### Ward Matching

Tenders are geomatched to wards so residents can see:

* Infrastructure projects affecting their area
* Service delivery contracts in their municipality
* Employment opportunities from local procurement

### Nexus Radar

The **Nexus Radar** is an automated conflict-of-interest detection system that cross-references:

* **Government officials** (from parliamentary and municipal records)
* **Business directors** (from CIPC registrations)

When a connection is found (e.g., a councillor who is also a director at a tendering company), it is flagged with a severity score.
