Nexus Radar
The Nexus Radar is Visita’s automated Conflict of Interest detector, purpose-built for civic accountability.
How It Works
- Cross-references government officials database against business director registers
- Detects hidden relationships (shared addresses, directorships, family links)
- Scores severity from informational to critical
- Publishes findings on a transparency dashboard
What It Catches
- A councillor who is also a director at a company winning municipal tenders
- Officials with undeclared business interests in their ward
- Patterns of contract awards to connected entities
Nexus Radar is about transparency, not prosecution. It surfaces connections so the public can ask the right questions.
